FSM isnt about a vendetta or hatred. Sam Mitchell’s rise from an average basketball player to respectable Coach of the Year, is an encouraging testament to perseverance and dedication. A player’s coach, he commands respect for the dues he’s paid and is generally a positive influence in the locker room.
However, it’s this site’s (mine) and many other’s school of thought, that he has a definite ceiling as far as accomplishment. Tactically, motivationally and for a general ‘feel’ for the game, Sam lacks…and for this lacking, he handicaps the Raptor’s progress and negates some of Bryan Colangelo’s brilliance.
And so, for the good of the team: Fire Sam Mitchell.
