you can’t honestly consider Hump or Moon more skilled than Bargnani

jeez that’s parker and not hump

still…

I don’t.
Sam’s/Magneto forcefield of misuse is holding AB and JK, back AND down.
I mean to convey their skill at this given moment. Unfortunately the worse their roles are defined (eg. plays drawn up), the less horizontal movement/player development.

ok, now I understand and I agree (as almost always) with you.
While Andrea has certainly some flaws he needs to correct (and hopefully will), there is no doubt Sam’s misuse has been detrimental to him. With almost any other coach in this league he’d be averaging close to 20pts per game now, or at least he’d be on the right track to get there.
Don’t even get me started on Kapono, best 3pts shooter around and well known for being monodimensional, who actually spends entire games without shooting from 3. This makes even less sense than AB’s playtime.

If you gave me the blank graph and the players, I would’ve put them in almost exactly the same positions (considering that the true skill of Bargnani and Kapono is not being harnessed).
I would define the upper-right as “keeper”, or something to that effect, just because I don’t see AP, Rasho, etc. as All-Stars.
But now I’m knit-picking.

Agreed.
The ‘Label’ for each quadrant, only applies to the EXTREME corner (ie. close to max or min on the x or y axis), which is why Bosh overlaps the top right one.
(…and why Sam overlaps the top left one).

We need 1-2 more players at or passing Jose’s level.
Either Andrea, the resulting player from TJ’s imminent departure or Rasho’s expiring contract. That will make or break this team, along with a new coach.

That’s a good way to look at it. And at least one of those new additions needs to be a bona-fide grinder/rebounder who gets to the line.
And hire Carlisle.
