Not to be a perennial pessimist, but Bargnani at the 3 doesn’t scare me at all. Everyone’s always so big on suggesting that he play there. True, on offense it’s a tough matchup. True, on defense, they don’t have to switch through on most screens.
But Bargnani guarding at the three one-on-one?!?! Remember what the Magic did to us (I mean, him)?
It’s a good option to have, but I don’t think that it’s a long term solution by any means. This is just a band aid against a small ball team to cover up the fact that we have the retard named Jamario.
